Who Are We after all?
We are a Tourist Office, which is located in the train station of Aveiro. We want to make it possible for all tourists to obtain the information they need for their stay in Aveiro. Our target audience is the tourists who really need to use this service, and our space is also adapted for any type of tourist, that includes people with physical or intellectual limitations. Our main goal is to make anyone who uses our services, feel informed and, mainly, satisfied with the service. We offer brochures with information in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Braille. We also offer assistance in sign language, and guided tours for any type of person, with all the information about the sights and important elements of the city, not forgetting that we facilitate guided tours with audio guides, which are able to interact well with the audience in question.
O nosso principal objetivo é fazer com que qualquer pessoa que usufrua dos nossos serviços se sinta esclarecida e satisfeita.
Disponibilizamos brochuras com a informação em português, inglês, francês, espanhol e, também, em braille.
Dispomos de atendimento em língua gestual e proporcionamos visitas guiadas para qualquer tipo de pessoa.
Facultamos, ainda, visitas com áudio guias que contêm informações pormenorizadas dos pontos turísticos da cidade.
How did this idea come about?
This idea arose because in our view it is necessary that there is a tourism office as close as possible to the train station since tourists use a lot of rail services to get to Aveiro. It is a good thing to have a place like this close by so that Aveiro receives new people in a easy way, and that satisfies the target audience, so that they transmit to other people what the city of Aveiro has to offer. We also considered that it is very important to include inclusive tourism in our idea, because it is something that sensitizes us a lot and we think it is fundamental that we have the conditions to inform them.
